§ 87. Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is aware of the assertion of the Jordan delegate in the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly on 12th December, 1962, that while slavery was forbidden in the independent Arab States it was practised in the Arabian British Protectorates; and what steps have been taken to refute this allegation.
