§ 49. Mr. Awberyasked the Minister of Health if he is aware that doctors' surgeries and their equipment are paid for out of the fee pad to the doctors and that this is inadequate to provide satisfactory surgeries and waiting rooms; and if he will take steps to provide a more adequate allowance for this purpose or make the provision for them a separate charge on the National Health Service.
§ Mr. BraineThe present arrangements for reimbursement of practice expenses are agreed with the profession and my right hon. Friend sees no reason for altering them.
