§ 52. Mrs. Braddockasked the Minister of Health if he will make arrangements for the supply of artificial limbs to young children at limb-fitting centres where facilities are available, in order to prevent the need for mothers to be away from home for approximately six weeks with their children at Roehampton limb-fitting centre.
§ Mr. PowellYes. Artificial limbs are usually supplied at the nearest centre and special training in the use of arms is given at six centres as well as at certain special units.
