§ Mr. Deerasked the First Secretary of State (1) if he will give an assurance that the position of Federal civil servants will be considered and safeguarded in the talks on the proposed secession of Nyasaland;
(2) if he will now state the extent of Nyasaland's portion of the Federal debt 220W for which Her Majesty's Government will be responsible after secession.
