§ Mr. D. PriceThree new manufacturing units have been established since 1952 in the Ebbw Vale group of employment exchange areas in north-west Monmouthshire, which together now employ some 50 people. Unemployment in this area has for some time exceeded the national average, and my right hon. Friend would be glad to see suitable new industry established there. But he does not consider that he would be justified in listing the area as a development district.
