§ 48 and 60. Mr. Dalyellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) when the first instalment of the £10 million additional aid to developing countries from under-utilised resources in areas such as North-East England, Merseyside, West Cumberland, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, will be authorised;
(2) if he will make a statement on the progress of his efforts to provide £10 million from under-utilised resources in North-East England, Merseyside, West Cumberland, Scotland and Northern Ireland, as aid for developing countries.
§ Mr. MaudlingI cannot yet say when the first instalment of the additional aid will be authorised, but I hope it will not be long now.
