§ 78. Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when he expects to receive the report of the Basutoland Constitutional Commission from the Paramount Chief; and when he intends to call a Constitutional Conference to discuss the next steps for constitutional advance in Basutoland.
§ Mr. SandysI understand that the Commission is unlikely to report until at least the second half of this year. In the circumstances I have no plans at present for a Constitutional Conference.
