§ 89. Sir B. Jannerasked the Attorney-General whether he is aware that straying horses have been responsible for fatal and other serious accidents in such circumstances that no right of redress lies against the owners of the animals: and if he will take steps so that such right shall be exercisable.
§ The Attorney-GeneralI know that the present law regarding liability for damage done by straying animals is not entirely satisfactory. Any change would, however, require legislation and I can hold out no prospect of this at present.
