asked the Minister of Aviation what is the present position regarding the erection of a new hotel at Prestwick Airport.

In December last, two concerns submitted proposals for building and operating a new hotel at Prestwick. These are now being examined by the Ministry of Aviation. Another concern has intimated that it may also submit proposals.
