§ 44. Mr. Awbery
asked the Minister of Labour if he will consult the Trades Union Congress in an endeavour to set up a tripartite committee of employers, trade unions and representatives of his Department with a view to ascertaining what specific steps should be taken to solve the problems which arise on the floor of the factory or workshop before they cause labour unrest.
§ Mr. Hare
My National Joint Advisory Council forms a very effective committee of the sort the hon. Gentleman has in mind in that it includes representatives of the British Employers' Confederation, the Trades Union Congress and the nationalised industries.
