§ Captain Kerbyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when the Kenya Government have undertaken to repay the loan of around £200,000 from Her Majesty's Government to buy the European farms in the Nandi Salient.
§ Mr. SandysThe money estimated to be needed for purchases this year will be issued as part of a loan under Section 2 of the Colonial Development and Welfare Act towards the general purposes of the Kenya development programme, which provides for this expenditure. These loans are normally repayable over 25 years.
