§ Mr. MarplesThe bodies participating with my Department in the detailed examination of Part II of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894, and other relevant provisions relating to seafarers are the Shipping Federation, the Employers' Association of the Port of Liverpool, the Mercantile Marine Service Association, the Merchant Navy and Airline Officers' Association, the Radio Officers' Union and the National Union of Seamen. I believe that these are the organisations having the main interest at this stage.
