§ 69. Mr. Dribergasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will now make a statement on the inquiry into the circumstances in which various persons were charged with carrying offensive weapons during a demonstration at the time of the Greek royal visit.
§ Mr. BrookeThe inquiries necessary have proved very extensive, and I am informed by the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis that it is not now likely that it will be possible to complete them before Christmas. I will therefore make a statement when the House resumes in January.
