§ 74. Mr. Parkerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department in how many of the 814 cases of alleged fraud reported to and investigated by the Metropolitan and City Company Fraud Branch from 1st January, 1959, to 25th November, 1963, his Department officially informed the Press of the names of the persons or organisations which were the subject of these allegations and investigations, either prior to the case being referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions for consideration or prior to the institution of a prosecution; and how many of these cases were among the 280 where convictions were obtained.
