§ Mr. A. Lewisasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what action he has taken, or intends to take, to 57W inform local authorities that fixed, oil-drip fire heaters which have been approved by his Department qualify for grants under the Clean Air Act in the same way as heaters produced by the manufacturers of certain types of coal, gas and electrical appliances.
§ Sir K. JosephAdvice about the eligibility of fixed oil heaters for grant will be included in a circular which my Department is about to issue to local authorities in England and Wales. I will send a copy to the hon. Member.
