§ 83. Mr. Lawsonasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance if he will state the total amount of employer-employee graduated pension contributions paid into the National Insurance Fund from the commencement of the graduated pension scheme to the latest available date, and the total amount repaid in graduated benefits during the same period.
§ Mr. WoodUp to the beginning of this month, about £477 million had been paid in graduated contributions. Most of those who have paid them are still under pension age, but graduated additions to pensions amounted to about £400,000.
