§ 100. Mr. T. W. Jonesasked the Postmaster-General what steps he is taking to improve television services in the Dolgellau, Merioneth, area.
§ Mr. BevinsThe B.B.C. are continuing to plan improvements and extensions of their television coverage by means of low-power stations, of which the first three batches are in hand. I understand that they are now preparing a fourth list of such stations, but until I receive their proposals I am sorry I cannot comment with regard to individual areas.
This applies also to the I.T.A., who have also begun to plan low-power stations to improve and extend their coverage, which is not so extensive as that of the B.B.C.
