§ 3. Mr. Iremongerasked the Minister of Transport by what amount the Ilford Borough Council's minor improvement programme for classified roads was underspent in the year 1962–63 owing to the severe weather; and what amount 174W of additional grant has been made available in respect of the council's area during the current year.
§ Mr. GalbraithI understand that last year Ilford underspent a net sum of some £16,000 on maintenance and minor improvement, and that this year they have been allocated £4,767 from the additional grant given to the Essex County Council for frost damage repairs.
