§ 8. Mr. G. Thomasasked the Minister of Transport what reply he has sent to the Cardiff City Council in connection with their recent correspondence concerning Eastern Avenue, Cardiff.
§ Mr. GalbraithThey have been told that the scheme has been included in the trunk road programme for 1967–68, and that the details will be finally approved when we know the results of the Origin and Destination Survey recently made by the City Council. The preparatory work will be pressed ahead, but with a scheme of this magnitude there is no prospect of construction being started before the summer of 1967.
