THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR COLONIAL AFFAIRS (THE MARQUESS OF LANSDOWNE)

  1. (a) I do not think it would be right for me to make public particulars of the contents of confidential documents found on the premises of political organisations which may at one time or another have to be searched by the police;
  2. (b) No members of the Pan-African Congress arrested in Basutoland have been sent back to South Africa.

House adjourned at nine minutes before six o'clock.
