MacphersonFigures for the first weeks in March are not available, but at 4th February 18 young persons were drawing unemployment benefit at the Slough Youth Employment Office compared with two at the corresponding date last year. No young person was receiving National Assistance at that office on 4th February, 1963, and one young person was doing so a year earlier.
