§ Q11. Mr. H. Hyndasked the Prime Minister whether the further measures envisaged in the Gracious Speech will include one to provide for some Minister to be accountable to Parliament for matters concerning police forces in England and Wales.
§ The Prime MinisterIt is not the intention of the Government to introduce in this Session any legislation arising out of the report of the Royal Commission on the Police. We are pressing on, however, with our examination of its recommendations.
