§ Mr. MarplesImprovement of the Gants Hill roundabout at Ilford will require a flyover. I have appointed Messrs. Brian Colquhoun and Partners as consulting engineers and their report is not expected until late summer or early autumn of next year. I shall not be able to make a statement on my plans until the consulting engineers' report has been studied. Particulars of property affected must await the preparation of detailed plans, and this will not be before 1964. The local authorities concerned will be consulted when the consulting engineers' report is being considered.
