§ Mr. AmeryThe Queen's Flight consists of four Herons, two Whirlwinds and one Chipmunk. Their initial capital cost was about £530,000. When not required by members of the Royal Family these aircraft may be used by senior Ministers and other important passengers such as the Chiefs of Staff. As the Flight is fully occupied in meeting these commitments an extension of its use would involve an increase in its establishment.
