asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance whether the National Insurance Advisory Committee has yet reported on his proposed Regulations relaxing the conditions for credits for seasonal workers during off-season unemployment.

Mr. Boyd-Carpenter:

Yes. The Committee has approved the draft Regulations, which have now been made. They were laid before Parliament as the National Insurance (Contributions) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations, 1962, together with the Committee's Report, on Friday last, and come into operation today.
