§ 57. Mr. Russellasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that confusion is sometimes caused to motorists when they turn right from a one-way street into a two-way street, especially if they are strangers and there is no indication that the street they are entering is a two-way; and if he will devise some means, such as by arrows painted on the road, to warn them to keep to the left-hand side of the street.
§ Mr. MarplesA traffic sign is already presribed for use as a warning to drivers in a one-way street that they are entering a two-way street. I am not aware that there is much confusion on this point, but if my hon. Friend will give me particulars of any junction where difficulties do arise, I will be glad to have an investigation made.
