(2) what details have previously been published of United States securities held by the Treasury or by Treasury nominees; and what percentage is taken into account in the balance of monthly gold and dollar reserves.
§ Mr. BarberThese securities form part of the assets of the Exchange Equalisation Account. It is not the practice to publish details of that Account but the approximate value of the dollar portfolio is given in Balance of Payments White Papers. The value is not included in the figures of gold and currency reserves.
