The names of the ships approved during 1961–62 for scrapping are:—Destroyers—H.M. Ships "Alamein", "Childers", "Cockade" and "Comet". Frigates—H.M. Ships "St. Brides Bay", "Cardigan Bay", "Pheasant Starling", "Paladin", "Teazer", "Loch Craggie" and "Brecon". Netlayer—H.M.S. "Guardian". Submarines—H.M. Submarines "Tudor", "Tactician", "Trespasser", "Trenchant", "Thule", "Scorcher", "Sentinel". "Solent", "Minnow" and "Sprat". Destroyer Depot Ship—H.M.S. "Woolwich". Ocean Minesweepers—H.M. Ships "Bramble", "Lennox", "Rinaldo", "Hound", "Orestes", "Pincher", "Plucky", "Wave" and "Welcome".
