Mr. Edelmanasked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that 350 car workers employed by Bristol Siddeley Engines, Ltd., in Coventry, are to be dismissed as redundant in the near future; and what action he has taken to provide comparable employment for those dismissed.
§ Mr. GreenYes. A number of workers from this firm will become redundant during March. We are already registering these workers in advance of their discharge and my local officers will do all 117W they can to find suitable alternative employment for them.
