49. Mr. Harold Davies

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what reply he has made to the representations of the National Farmers' Union about the National Economic Development Council.

I informed the President of the National Farmers' Union that the composition of the Council is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer, to whom the hon. Gentleman has a Question later on the Order Paper today.
