§ Mr. Mappasked the Minister of Health if he has now studied the report of the inquiry in regard to the case of 160W Mrs. Watson, a patient at Boundary Park Hospital, Oldham; and what recommendations he has to make on the report and as to its publication.
§ Mr. PowellI have received the report. I accept its conclusions and recommendations and have asked the regional hospital board to inform me by 31st July of the action taken. Copies of the report have been placed in the Library; I am sending the hon. Member a copy which omits the clinical details and personal particulars about the patient. In this form the report is also being made available to the Press by the Board.
