§ 40. Mr. Boydenasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what is the total area of spoil heaps and other derelict industrial land shown in local 43W authorities' development plans; and how much of this land is scheduled for reclamation in the next three years.
§ Mr. CorfieldPlans submitted during the last five years have shown 8,618 acres of derelict land, mostly resulting from industrial activities. The authorities hoped to reclaim 1,171 acres during the first five years from the submissions.
