§ Mr. A. Lewisasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he will publish in HANSARD a table of figures giving, for each quarter since 1951, the average number of council houses built, the size of such houses, the time taken for completion of such houses, the cost, and the interest rates on repayment of the borrowed capital which would have to be paid if the loans were spread over 60 years.
§ Sir K. JosephI think it may be most convenient if the figures for area and price are given in terms of three-bedroom houses, since this is the largest 49W single category and provides the most reliable index of costs.
