§ Mr. HeathWe already participate fully in the arrangements for regular consultation among European countries on statistical matters. Meetings are held by the Conference of European Statisticians and by the specialist agencies of the United Nations, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and other organisations. These meetings cover, among other things, the use of similar methods and similar base periods for statistics.
