asked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware of the poor reception of British Broadcasting Corporation television programmes in the Hull area; and whether he will take immediate steps to investigate and remedy the matter.

The B.B.C. tells me that, for most of the year, the Hull area has satisfactory television reception from its Holme Moss transmitter provided good outdoor aerials are used. Reception is affected, however, during the summer months by interference from television stations on the Continent.
