Hamiltonasked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been drawn to the continued run-down in manpower employed at the National Coal Board workshops in Cowdenbeath; and what steps he has in mind to ensure that alternative employment is provided for those men who become redundant.
§ Mr. ErrollI understand that normal wastage has since the beginning of this year led to a reduction of 28 people or 6 per cent, in the labour force at these workshops. There has been no redundancy.
