§ Mr. Cordleasked the Minister of Labour what arrangements are being made to absorb the 400 to 500 employees of the de Havilland factory at Christchurch, who will be redundant at the end of this month, in other industries in the travel-to-work area.
§ Mr. HareMy local officers have been registering workpeople at the factory in advance of their discharge and will continue to do all they can to find them alternative employment in the area.
