§ Mr. R. A. ButlerThe information which was obtained from hospitals by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health and the inquiries made of the police about accidents which occurred last year did not reveal the causes of the injuries with sufficient exactness to enable remedies to be suggested. My right hon. Friend is arranging to obtain more detailed information from hospitals after next Guy Fawkes Day. In the meantime, my Department is holding some preliminary discussions with the manufacturers.
