§ Mr. Denzil FreethThe National Lending Library for Science and Technology, under the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, is now almost fully operational. As regards the National Reference Library of Science and Invention, which is to be administered by the British Museum, design work is proceeding for the building, which will provide more space for books than was originally planned.
