104W
§ Mr. C. Ian Orr-EwingPresent naval stocks of emulsified oil in the United Kingdom are about 16,000 tons. Stocks are not increasing although there may be temporary fluctuations in the stock level. All emulsified oil is treated in naval oil fuel depots and some 23,000 tons of usable oil have been recovered in the past twelve months. No stocks of emulsified oil have been disposed of.
Treatment is by heating and separation of water, aided or accelerated where necessary, by the addition of liquid detergents.
