§ Mr. Abseasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that there is no provision in the specialities of paediatrics, infectious diseases, diseases of the chest, dermatology, geriatrics, special-care babies and acute psychiatry in the North Monmouthshire area; and, in view 68W of these deficiencies in the hospital service and the public concern that the hospital plan permits the commencement of building of a new hospital at Abergavenny to be delayed until 1965–66, whether he will give assurances that the first phase of the building of this hospital will be commenced this year.
§ Miss PittI am aware of the difficulties of this area; I am not yet in a position to announce the starting date of the new hospital at Abergavenny.
