§ 53. Mr. Prenticeasked the Lord Privy Seal if he will make a statement on the steps being taken to prepare British proposals for the general disarmament negotiations that are to begin in Geneva in March, and how many members of his Department are engaged in these preparations.
§ Mr. GodberWe are in close and continuous consultation with the United States Government over the preparation of a common Western position for the talks, including the preparation of all necessary documents. Senior British officials will be in Washington next month for detailed discussions. On the second part of the Question, I have nothing to add to the reply given to the right hon. Gentleman the Member for Derby, South (Mr. P. Noel-Baker) on 20th November.
