§ Mr. Gowerasked the Minister of Aviation what plans he has for improving the airport at Rhoose, Glamoragn; and when he will announce his decision about future extensions of the runways there.
§ Mr. WoodhouseExtensions will shortly be made to the terminal building at Cardiff (Rhoose) airport. These will provide a bigger passenger lounge, and are planned to be ready in time for this summer's traffic.
The terminal apron is also being enlarged to allow more aircraft to be parked.
I am satisfied that the runways at Rhoose are adequate for the aircraft at present using this airport and for those likely to do so in the next few years.
