HC Deb 23 February 1962 vol 654 c91W
Captain Kerby

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many accidental deaths occurred on farms in England and Wales in 1961; and how many of these were a direct result of unguarded power-take-offs and power take-off shafts on field machinery.

Mr. Vane

141. One of these occurred because the power take-off of a machine was not guarded as required by the Agriculture (Power Take-off) Regulations, 1957.
