§ Mr. MaudlingNo agreements have been concluded with the Basutoland Development Corporation or other industrial companies to establish new industries in Basutoland. The Corporation has made tentative proposals to introduce small industries such as brick works, an abattoir and a paint factory. Consideration is being given to tax concessions which the Corporation has requested; concessions in rates, customs and land charges have not been discussed.
