§ 53. Mr. Websterasked the Minister of Transport how many accidents involving pedestrians have occurred between the airport entrance at Lulsgate and Potters Hill on A.38 during the last convenient period.
§ Mr. HayIn 1961 there were nine personal injury accidents in which pedestrians were involved. In these accidents two pedestrians were killed, one seriously injured and one slightly injured.
§ 64. Mr. Leatherasked the Minister of Transport what action he proposes to take to safeguard the lives of schoolchildren crossing the A.38 road between Lulsgate and Potter's Hill in Somerset.
§ Mr. HayAs the measures already taken to make this road safer have not proved adequate, we are considering urgently with the county council what more can be done.
