§ Mr. BevinsIt is for the I.T.A. to decide whether to transmit such a programme within the present permitted 139W hours of broadcasting. I am sorry I cannot consider a regular extension of the hours of broadcasting beyond the present limits until the Committee on Broadcasting has reported and the Government have had the opportunity to consider its recommendations.
