asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether it is known how Douglas Pidgley, recently sentenced at the Old Bailey for armed robbery, obtained possession of a revolver, and, if it is not known, what steps are being taken to find out.

The weapon has not been traced, and it is not known how the prisoner obtained possession of it. Police inquiries will be continued as opportunity offers.
