§ 92. Mr. P. Wellsasked the Minister of Transport what reply he has sent to the residents of Water Lane, Ospringe, Faversham, concerning the heavy flow of water through their property, due to work proceeding in the Medway by-pass road, about which they wrote to him recently.
§ Mr. MarplesThe method by which this flow of water was to be carried in an open ditch was established with the land-owner before the erection of the houses in which these residents live. Nevertheless, I appreciate their anxiety, especially about the possible danger to their children. I have therefore instructed my consulting engineers to see what can be done.
