§ 51. Mr. Ellis Smithasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will take steps to enable loan arrangements made for approved housing associations to build houses for letting to be extended to apply to trade unions.
§ Sir K. JosephNo action by me is necessary. It is already open to trade unions to form their own housing associations and to take advantage of all the benefits under existing legislation. The National Federation of Housing Societies, 12, Suffolk Street, London, S.W.1, will gladly send all necessary details to any unions or others interested.
